Why track your PdG
hormone levels?
Progesterone is the main hormone present during your luteal phase. Rising progesterone levels confirm you successfully ovulated the urine metabolite of progesterone. Progesterone balance in a pregnancy is essential.
Mira Confirm accurately measures your numerical PdG levels to know when your fertile or infertile window is or whether you need to manage hormone imbalances.
Quickly identify your ovulation and automatically sync your data into the app. Plus, by combining LH, E3G, and PdG testing using with the Mira Analyzer, a 360-degree view of your fertility is now a possibility.

Mira Wands

Mira Fertility Wands
The simple disposable urine test Wands accurately track luteinizing hormone to identify both fertile and infertile days. Must be used together with the Mira Analyzer.

Mira Fertility Plus Wands
Mira Fertility Plus Wands measure Estrogen-Estradiol Metabolite (E3G) and Luteinizing Hormone (LH) levels at home and work with the current Mira Analyzer. You are able to see your Estrogen and LH levels, know your cycle phases, hormone patterns, and all fertile days and infertile days.

Mira Fertility Confirm Wands
With Mira’s Confirm Wands, you can easily track your PdG hormone levels and if you wish, combine this information with the Mira Fertility Plus Wands, which measure luteinizing hormone + estrogen levels. However, this is not necessary; you can track PdG levels exclusively without combining your readings. Must be used together with the Mira Analyzer.
Using the Mira Confirm Wands is easy
*Before each test, push the power button to turn the Analyzer on. Then, launch the Mira App to make sure both devices are linked and syncing.
Dip.
Dip the wand into your urine sample for 10 seconds. We recommend you use your first-morning urine or limiting fluid intake for two hours before testing.

Insert.
Insert the wand into the Mira Analyzer.

Wait approximately 16 minutes. You will see a countdown timer on the Mira Analyzer.

FAQ
The Mira Analyzer dynamically tracks hormone levels and gives you actual estrogen, LH, and PdG levels throughout your cycle. Other monitors detect ovulation using a static hormones baseline, which can cause false positives or not be helpful for someone with low levels. With Mira, you can see your unique hormone curves and get fertility alerts to remind you of the best days for conception or when to avoid unprotected sex. Mira allows you to see all phases of your cycle in addition to ovulation, and Mira is PCOS friendly!
You don’t need to worry about accuracy with the Mira Confirm Wands. The Pregnanediol-3-Glucuronide(PdG) is the major urine metabolite for progesterone, which is low during the first half of the menstrual cycle and rises after the egg is released. According to published papers, the level of urinary PdG is shown to correlate with the presence of progesterone in serum.
When the PdG levels are greater than 5 μg/ml, the ovulation is generally confirmed, and correlates to a serum progesterone level of 10 ng/ml based on clinical studies.
Yes, you can use your current Mira Analyzer. However, if you bought Mira before September 2019, you might need to upgrade firmware. Contact our customer service at support@miracare.com to double-check.
The Mira Analyzer dynamically tracks hormone levels and gives you numerical PdG hormone levels. In fact, Mira is the only analyzer on the market that adapts to you and offers completely personalized results & insights. Other methods using test strips may cause false positives, provide numerical results based on a specific spectrum, or provide inaccurate, unclear data.
The Analyzers in Starter Kit Boxes are the same. The only difference is that the Mira Starter Kit Plus includes new Wands that allow you to measure two hormones: LH and estrogen. The Mira Fertility Confirm Wands include wands that allow you to measure your progesterone levels.
